MOT History

For readers outside the UK, the MOT (Motor Ordinance Test) is a yearly test of a vehicle's condition.  It is a legal requirement for vehicles which are older than 3 years to have a valid MOT certificate before being driven on a public highway.

This vehicle has MOT certificates from 2000 onwards - which was the point it came back into the UK from Dubai.

The following MOT certificates date between 2000 to 2005.  They are significant as they help confirm the number of kilometres recorded are correct and have not been tampered with.
In 2006, the style of the certificates changed and they include a section which shows if any 'advisory' notes were issued with the MOT test.  This car has had no advisories since 2006 - another indicator of the loving car given to this vehicle.
